Blog? Twitter? Facebook? E-mail?

Blog? Twitter? Facebook? E-mail? There are just too many social network options for a slightly senior citizen to keep up with. All of this stuff has encroached on my time and stress level. I feel guilty when I don’t blog. I really have nothing much to say on twitter and don’t have many followers. E-mail is for really important and/or personal stuff. But I sure have a lot of new Facebook friends.

Honestly, I won’t accept just anybody who graduated from KU in 1990 (I was back in ’65), but let a “foodie” come along and I grab them quick. Also, fellow travel industry folks. So I do limit my circle of “friends”. I wish I could delete some posts. I know, I can un-friend them, but that is mean, and some of their stuff I like…but, too many play “games” and that just takes up space on the page. So, as a last resort, I hide them and run a check at the end of the day for something important (there usually isn’t anything).

So here I am back on the blog! I’ll post a link on my Facebook and twitter, then e-mail to my long list of friends and travelers. We should all keep in touch.

The photo is from The Grottos near Aspen. Bill and I have gone there for years, just to sit and be quiet. We were there mid-July. No phone, TV, fax, computer, twitter, facebook, e-mail or blogs. Peace!

Aspen in the summer is probably my very favorite place to be. And, the Grottos are exactly as you describe.
